 My name is Marlena Santiago, and I provide personal training and small group sessions that are tailored for you. For more than 15 years, I have been helping people find an exercise routine that improves health while being kind to their bodies.

Functional Strength Training

Functional strength training focuses on developing strength and stability in your muscles. This allows you to complete everyday activities more efficiently.

Functional training can improve the overall function of your body, boosting muscle strength and endurance. This makes your joints better protected and muscles more resistant to common injuries like strains.

Flexibility and Mobility training

  • Fewer injuries. Once you develop strength and flexibility in your body you'll be able to withstand more physical stress.

Low-Impact Cardiovascular Training

Low impact exercise is a type of exercise in which the amount of stress placed upon the joints of your knees, hips and ankles are relatively minimal.

Low-intensity cardio can help to strengthen your heart, lungs, muscles and bones just as it would after a more intense session.

Low-intensity cardio training also calms the nervous system promoting the release endorphins.

Low-Impact Strength Training

Low impact exercise involving low weight bearing activity is a great way for people to build up muscular strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness without putting too much stress or strain on the joints and tendons.

Any exercise in which at least one foot remains in contact with the ground is regarded as low impact, so this eliminates jumping or hopping exercises (which is classified as high-impact training).
